Thankful And Blessed

I woke up this morning feeling THANKFUL and BLESSED! We can never thank God enough for His GRACE and MERCY! God knew we could never be good enough, or work hard enough for our salvation, so He granted us, unmerited favor (GRACE), and pity (MERCY), to give us a better chance to make our calling and election sure.
He gives us GRACE, allowing us time and space to repent and correct whatever propensity we may of to continue making the same mistakes over and over again. After we have been blessed to continue working for Him in this life, being give His GRACE to do so, His MERCY is shown towards us, when He forgives us each time we sin, and repent, by petitioning Him at His throne of GRACE and MERCY. Amen!
But, one day, when it is His to call and ours to answer, we will have to answer for this life He has given us and stand before Him in the manner in which we died. If we die in a sinful condition, then we shall be raised in that same condition, and judge accordingly.
When we live a THANKFUL life, led by the Spirit, acknowledging His blessings and love, we can better see God's GRACE at work in our lives. When we experience that deep heart felt regret, and godly sorrow for having sinned, we are then blessed to become acquainted with His pity, shown to us as MERCY, when He grants us forgiveness, as He promised in His word. (1 John 1:9)
We should acknowledge God's GRACE and MERCY, each and every day. When you see God show up, and protect you, even when you didn't deserve it, you should always give Him the praise of thanksgiving! Let God know that you appreciate each time He steps in, and rescues you, or gives you a way out of a sinful situation. Don't only give Him the praise of thanksgiving, but make a conscious decision to no longer follow the path of unrighteousness, and commit to do all you possibly can to be resolved to follow the path of righteousness, never to return to whatever sin that separated you from your God in the beginning. Stay sin free by living a Thankful Life in Christ Jesus! Amen!

Cor. 12:27-28 'Now' ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. And God hath set some in the 'church'.....ISN'T THE BODY THE CHURCH AND THE CHURCH THE BODY? If that is the case , the 'body of Christ,' is the same as the 'church of Christ.' I see it in these two verses do you? Paul called the body of Christ , the church, therefore it is the church of Christ.

From about 1000 AD in England, Christians called by their enemies derogatory terms such as Waldensian, Lollard, Pelagian and Anabaptist, who baptised believers for the remission of sins by immersion upon confession, have been active in Great Britain and even earlier in Europe. They called themselves Christians and the church - The Church of Christ, having met continuously to join in fellowship with the Restoration Movement in the 1840s.
